Professor Karol is Professor of Law at New England Law | Boston, where he is also Director of the school’s Intellectual Property Law Certificate Program. He received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard University and was formerly a partner at Sunstein.

Dr. Hecker is an art historian and curator who specializes in modern and contemporary Italian art. She is a leading international authority on Medardo Rosso, and has written on other key twentieth-century Italian artists such as Lucio Fontana, Luciano Fabro, Francesco Lo Savio, Giuseppe Penone and Marisa Merz. She received her doctorate in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley.

Together, they detail the unexpected complications that arise when an artist dies, leaving behind a treasure trove of art.
