Ellen Wallingford

Ellen Wallingford (she/her) is the Managing Editor of the New England Law Review, Volume 58. She is a Juris Doctor Candidate and will graduate with the class of 2024. Her primary interests are criminal law, public interest, and policy. For the past two summers, Ellen has worked in criminal defense for Boston area attorneys in District and Superior Court. 

Ellen was born and raised in the Midwest with her B.A. in Women and International Development from St. Catherine University in Saint Paul, MN. She completed a year of AmeriCorps service with a legal nonprofit providing free legal advice to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and the advocates who work with them. Her service year experience inspired Ellen to move to Boston and attend law school.  

When she is not studying or working on Law Review, Ellen enjoys playing in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, listening to podcasts, and taking photos of her cat.
